Our manufacturing facility is based in Heilbron in the Free State and boasts three main platforms to produce snacks of the highest quality and consistency:
- Processing, frying and packaging of peanuts
- A pellet frying line
- Hard-extruding production and packaging lines producing Simba Nik Naks
Manufacturing exclusively for PepsiCo throughout South Africa, we currently produce the following product lines:
- Salted peanuts
- Nik Naks extruded snacks
- Peanuts and raisins
- Fried pellet-based products
Social Responsibility Initiatives
Social responsibility and caring for our employees are very important to us and critical to our long-term success as an organization. As the largest employer in the Heilbron area, over 600 employees and their families rely on Pakworks for their livelihood. Our social investment and community engagement activities include childcare facilities, feeding schemes, community events and initiatives, farmer incubation schemes, computer literacy training, medical care and occupational health services.
